If, perchance, you are watching the Yankees – Red Sox game this evening, look for me in Tier Res section 23.  I will be the one wearing the Yankees hat.

Good morning.

First of all, I am doing well after my recent epidural.  The discomfort is clearly lessened – I am actually going to test it this morning with another nine holes of golf.

As to my introductory sentence – YES, I am going to the game.  I have been to many Yankees – Red Sox games in the past, but always as a visitor to Fenway park.  Tonight will be my second visit ever to Yankee Stadium – and my first Yankees – Red Sox game in the House that Ruth Built.

My traveling companion for this event will be a misguided young woman who, for reasons unfathomed, is a Red Sox fan.  You would think being her father would give me some influence in the matter, but apparently sbe would rather root for a team from Bawlston.  Go figure.

Actually, she has a very good reason for rooting for the Red Sox – while we lived in Connecticut, we often attended games in Fenway Park with my oldest brother (and her godfather).  I guess I can forgive her.

Anyway – its up to take a shower, then run Zeke (my car) up for its checkup, then hopefully I will have enough time for nine holes of golf before we have to leave for the Stadium.  It is going to take us about three hours to get there and I want to go to Monument Park again.
