My brother just called me. He visited my mother with my youngest sister, youngest brother & his wife.

It is just a matter of time. Mom has not eaten in a week and the nursing home is just keeping her comfortable. It could be a matter of a couple of hours or weeks, depending on how strong she is now.

One good thing – both of my brothers agreed that Mom is more peaceful than she has been for the last year and one-half, so we can be thankful for that news.

Lord, your servant Betty Jane awaits her final journey to your everlasting kingdom. Watch over her, make her comfortable on her journey and prepare her welcome into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Grant her family and friends the serenity and understanding that her life has been blessed by her marriage, her children and grandchildren, and the community that surrounds her. Collectively, these individuals has brought her much joy and happiness. Comfort those who are grieving, that they might understand that this event does not end her life, merely her life here on Earth.
